(ĐN)- Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee on May 19 worked with Dong Nai Environment Protection Fund.
In 2014, the Fund received VND23.5 bil for its registered capital supplement, bringing its total capital of approximately VND98 billion. Accordingly, the Fund provided loans worth more than VND50 billion to nine projects in the province, an increase of 60% compared to the previous year.
In 2015, the Fund is estimated to lend over VND65 billion for environmental protection projects at local establishments, farms, small and medium enterprises.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh stressed that the Fund should continue to mobilize capital from enterprises as well as give priority loans to wastewater treatment projects in the next time to help protect local residents’ environment.
