(ĐN)- The 2024 Olympic Run Day for Public Health held by Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Dong Nai Youth Union and the provincial Trade Union for State Employees took place yesterday at the province’s Sports Center.

More than 3,000 runners from State agencies, police forces, army units, universities, colleges and high schools in the province took part in the event which was held to mark the 78th anniversary of Vietnam Sport Day, President Ho Chi Minh called for all people to exercise to stay healthy.
The event was also to respond to a campaign named “Million steps of kindness” launched by the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRC) and the Vietnam Youth Federation to call on the community to engage in physical activities to raise donations to the needy.
The Olympic Run Day aims to encourage people to do physical exercise regularly to stay fit and healthy.
