Accordingly, three enterprises were dissolved due to the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, 61 others temporarily suspended operations, the remaining businesses cut production and business scale to wait through difficult times.
More than 10,000 labourers working in 79 enterprises lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 crisis, according to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority.
Enterprises are not only greatly affected by the shrinking domestic market, but their goods also cannot be exported.
