In this period, many farmers decreased their herds due to African Swine Fever, resulting in lower demand for animal feed.
Local enterprises imported mainly from Argentina with import turnover of around $266.5 million, the US, $141 million, Brasil, $112 million and Thailand, $50.3 million.
