Long Khanh meets standard for recognition as 3rd-grade urban area

(ĐN)- The Construction Ministry last week convened a council to assess the project to recognize Long Khanh town as the third-grade urban area.

(ĐN)- The Construction Ministry last week convened a council to assess the project to recognize Long Khanh town as the third-grade urban area. After considering and referring to the current criteria on standards and targets, council members agreed to name Long Khanh as the third-grade urban with an average score of 87.7 out of 100 points.

Earlier, the council led by Deputy Minister of Construction Phan Thi My Linh paid a working visit to the town to assess the project to recognize Long Khanh town as the third-grade urban area. Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh highly appreciated criteria achieved by Long Khanh in construction and urban planning over the past time.

She also requested the town to focus on solutions on development on infrastructure and urban landscape architecture. At the same time, Long khanh should made further efforts on training human resources qualified to manage modern urban area, increasing public awareness on their rights and responsibilities in contribution to build Long Khanh as green, clean and beautiful urban area.
