The projects are mainly from Japanese investors, he added.
Recently, the Pegasus-Shimamoto Auto Parts Vietnam Co Ltd, an overseas subsidiary of the Japanese group Pegasus, has inaugurated an automobile manufacturing plant in the IP.
Long Duc IP covers an area of nearly 283 hectares in Long Thanh district’s Long Duc commune and is built with the total investment of over VND1,083 billion.
In recent years, the number of Japanese investors registering to do business in the province has been increasing.
Japanese investors accounted for approximately 30 per cent of the more than $1.6 billion foreign direct investment in Dong Nai in 2013.
