Provincial leaders pay New Year visits to State agencies and enterprises

(ĐN) – On December 31, the provincial leaders including Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai and Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc of People's Committee visited and wished a happy New Year to Dong Nai Food Industrial Corp (Dofico), Dong Nai Lottery Co., Corporation for the Development of Dong Nai Industrial Zone (Sonadezi),  the Provincial State Treasury, Dong Nai Customs Department, Dong Nai Taxation Department and Finance Department.

The provincial leaders highly appreciated contributions made by the sectors to the province’s socio-economic development in 2013 and hoped that the sectors will continue to take necessary measures to fulfill targets set for 2014.

In 2013, Dofico’s  turnover reported at more than VND8,500 billion, fulfilling 108 percent of the yearly target and contributed VND1,586 billion to state budget, a year-on-year increase of 14%.

Dong Nai Lottery Co. reached a turnover at more than VND3,160 billion, representing 104 percent of the yearly target, contributing VND914 billion to state budget.

Meanwhile, Sonadezi’s turnover was at VND2,738 billion, fulfilling 103% of the yearly target.

The Provincial State Treasury said that Dong Nai’s total budget collection in 2013 is estimated at more than VND41,000 billion while Taxation Department collected over VND18,780 billion of tax, fulfilling 106% of the whole year’s estimates and increasing 15% compared to previous year’s figure.

The Customs Department reported an import-export turnover of US$18.56 billion, US$1,711 million higher than the previous year, accounting of 7.3% of the country’s import-export revenue.
