(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Cashew Association (Donacas), the export price of cashew nuts is US$7,500-7,600 per tonne, up US$500-600 compared to the beginning this year.
The rise was due to the increasing demand of cashew nuts in China, EU and North America markets.
The Vietnam Cashew Association (Vinacas) forcasts that the prices are expected to continue to rise from now to October this year.
As known, the country exported 136,000 tonnes of cashew nuts, earning US$759 million in the first seven months of the year, an increase of 15 % in volume but a decline of nearly 6 % in value.
