French magazine hails Viet Nam’s investment environment

The French "Le Point" Review in its recent issue carried an article entitled "Viet Nam - A promising paradise" by Sophie Malo, appreciating Viet Nam as an attractive destination for foreign investors

The French "Le Point" Review in its recent issue carried an article entitled "Viet Nam - A promising paradise" by Sophie Malo, appreciating Viet Nam as an attractive destination for foreign investors.

 

According to the article, Viet Nam has many positive factors for foreign investors, such as its GDP reaching a high growth rate of 8.4 percent in 2005, while its purchasing power is increasing. Investment has increased in all sectors, particularly in agriculture, food processing, banking, construction, garment and foot wear production, and tourism.

 

The article noted that Viet Nam is going to join the World Trade Organisation (WTO) this year, which is a main factor luring more foreign investment.

 

The article quoted Kevin Snowball, Director of PXP Vietnam Asset Management, as affirming that investors from Asia, Europe, and America have found new encouragement for their investment in Viet Nam.
