(ĐN)- Many activities paying gratitude to martyrs, war invalids and policy beneficiary families were held in localities aross the province to mark the 63rd anniversary of Ward Invalids and Fallen War Combatants Day (July 27).

The Dong Nai War Veterans’ Association has visited and presented gifts worth VND 200,000 each to 65 war invalids in the province.

On July 27, leaders and youth union members of Vinatex Mart Bien Hoa visited and presented gifts worth VND 150,000 each to 20 families of war martyrs and invalids in Bien Hoa city’s Quang Vinh ward. Earlier, the delegation from Vinatex Mart Bien Hoa had offered gifts to war veterans in the locality.

On the same day, a requiem was held in Binh Quang temple in Bien Hoa city’s Hiep Hoa commune  to pray for heroic war martyrs who laid down their lives for the country’s independence and freedom. Hiep Hoa commune is home to 155 war martyrs, over 100 war invalids and disabled soldiers and around 300 policy families.
