(ĐN)- Trang Bom district’s gross domestic product (GDP) is estimated to grow by 19.1 percent year-on-year to reach VND4,414 billion in the first six months of this year. Of which, the industry-construction sector accounted for 72.7 percent of the GDP, the services sector made up 21.3 percent and the agro-forestry-aquatic sector, 6 percent.   

According to the district’s report, Trang Bom obtained more than VND4,806 billion in industrial production value in the first half, while its agricultural production value reached nearly VND302 billion, up 15.1% and 10.2% year-on-year, respectively.

Total retail sales revenue grew by 9.2 percent year-on-year to nearly VND2,557 billion.

The district’s total budget revenue also increased 43.32 percent compared to the same period of last year.
